Betsy joined ARCH Development Partners as Chief Financial Officer in September of 2004. She also serves as treasurer of NephRx Corporation, one of our current Portfolio companies. Prior to joining ARCH, Betsy taught Accounting at Western Michigan University after leaving a career in public accounting at Plante & Moran out of the Kalamazoo office. During her tenure at Plante & Moran she earned her CPA and completed her MA degree in Accountancy from Western Michigan University. Before changing careers to accounting and related services, Betsy worked as a computer systems analyst for Brown Company, a large Kalamazoo-based paper company, and as a programmer for Sears Roebuck, Chicago. Betsy has served as a board member on a variety of not-for-profit human service organizations in Kalamazoo and served as co-chair of a multi-million dollar fund raising effort for The Guidance Clinic of Kalamazoo.
